This song is great! I love it. We all think back to when we were young. When there is someone special in our past life that meant something, etc. I had family members I wish I had gain in my life, but that is not reality. For some we fail to appreciate what we had, all we can do is long for those times back.

WOW! This song really tell the story, huh? It is so poignant. I think Luka needs someone to come save her, and tell her she is more than what she is subjected to. She needs love and kindness not abuse.
How many people do we pass on the street or in our cars, that live in such a situation ass this? I dare say it is too many. Too many have to deal with physical and mental abuse in our world. We should try our best to help and notice it.

It was first recorded by King, and included in her album Tapestry.
Another well-known version is by James Taylor from his album Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon.
