That One Morning by MwsRWritings.com
As I arose from my bed
Things were swirling in my head
Look at how our society is
How things are becoming so perilous
I peered out my window
I heard the sparrows
What could that glorious morning have felt like?
No one was announcing his resurrection from a stage mike.
He was our Savior, our lamb, that was slain
Oh, how he endured all that pain!
It was for our sins that he gave of himself
He was unselfish and unsinful, not like myself.
I owe him so much
Because so much was given, a bunch
He arose from the grave
He who was tortured and killed for us to be saved.
That morning was unlike any other day
If in it you never learn the price he had to pay
He did nothing but love us all
Because of this morning, we never have to fall
We can rise again ourselves
Take a seat beside him in death
If we remember this one morning
This great cause for celebration and singing
He has arisen from the grave!
Alleluia, praise be to him who can save!
