once there was an active place
despite the fact, no one saw another’s face
it really did not seem to matter
everyone seemed crazy, like the Mad Hatter
working away in blindness without a face
inhabited by a special race
it did not matter, it was their normal
although normal was strangely a slight
curious why no one had their sight?
so everyone would be equal
no falsehood, no pretense at all
crazy was their normal, they were free
normal was because they really could not see
what a peculiar but equal place to be
