Take a stance,
Each day is another chance
To shine, to make a different beginning,,
Even if your soul is struggling.
Sometimes in our most vulnerable states
We can, a difference make.
Life can be good
Even if sometimes we do not do what we should.
Despite all the sett backs and frustrations
Life is a rewarding and full of jubilation.
Often in defeat,
We can see when it is time to retreat,
Life has a way of instructing us, too
Humbling some, often with another chance or two.
Look at something from another way
Another perspective will often display
Things are there,
Make yourself aware
Reach for that higher “bar”
Surely, you will go far.
