Trudging

Seems like this day is trudging along

Nothing new, not even a song

I wish for pleasant things

Although the simple ones most often spring

It is okay for me to sometimes sit

Think about how things often fit

In my life and I make a decision

Whether to leave something that causes commotion

Often we need to recharge

Take a moment or two, just to ignore

Things that are hectic, cruel, or unkind

Things that bottle up on the surface of our minds.

It is okay to put off , this or that

I know, it to be a fact

Nothing worries us more than ourselves

In spite of our efforts, we are often compelled.

So perhaps this day that is trudging along,

Will bring to my mind a pleasant song

Maybe I am looking at it all wrong.

Oops… I did not realise in the comments youtube links dont work. Its a scene of movie 2.22 where both of them meet first time in a theater. Have ypu seen it?
