Protect Yourself From A Pepper’s Capsaicin

Hot peppers are really good to eat. The problem with preparing them is that they can burn your fingertips and frankly, anything they touch. You don’t have to let this happen to you. I have a recipe for you to help take the “heat” out.

RECIPE

1 tablespoon of water

1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide

1/8 teaspoon of baking soda

Mix them all together . You can wash your hands after cutting the hot peppers. If you have a hot mouth you can swish this mixture around in your mouth. Just DO NOT SWALLOW IT.

SIDE NOTE

The hydrogen peroxide neutralizes capsaicin, the reason your senses tingle and burn.
