Poem

Smile,
By MwsR

She smiled, to keep up the pretense
Though she felt sad and intense.
She walked, not into a new day
Yet she ran into chaos from every which way.
Her heart had let her down,
Still, her mind would not let her drown.
She cried, not really for letting others down
They were not the reasons she carried a frown.
She wished that she could just run away
Yet nothing made her demons stay at bay.
The dreams and wishes she once had
Now, they only make her sad.
She smiled to keep up the pretense
But what she needed was immense.

MwsRWritings

“Let’s write about self image today”….MwsR

There is a link between your thoughts of yourself and how you look at another.
The saying that “you are going to love yourself because God made you is not the truth.”
First, you must look at yourself without those condescending, critical, goggles you have on! The truth is we can never love ourselves like God can to think otherwise is misleading yourself which will leave no room to change things…appearance or otherwise. Do you know what I am writing here this morning?!
Secondly, our human bodies were created to change…to grow old…and to diminish in appearance. Ain’t nobody able to stop that. So quit looking for that hidden youth serum or that latest procedure. There is exercise…healthy diets…supplements..vitamins..etc.
Thirdly, This ain’t Hollywood people. We don’t have airbrushes and computer experts able to change our appearance at a whim.
Do I want to look spectacular? Um, yes but I have faced reality. Not enough money or time or collagen at my doorstep. Anyhow the previous ideals would shock me back to the here and now.
Why is it we think true love of self is skin deep?
True love of self is knowing our intentions, our thoughts, our reasons and meanings to how we struggle, how we deal, how we treat, and how we live.
Do I totally love my body? Nope
Do I love gaining weight or wrinkles or clothes not fitting? Nope
But I think in God’s eyes I am perfect. I think God cares less about my body and more on what controls my thoughts and rules in my life.
Next time you wish you were better looking or skinnier…or HOT remember to God the only one who should matter…YOU ARE.
Can you improve? Certainly but don’t let it rule you. You might just begin to like you, you already are.
Also, you will be kinder to others. You will appreciate them for their heart…not their appearance. You won’t be a “fake”.:)

Tiny Bubble/Poem by MwsR

Oh!to live in a tiny bubble

One void of conflicts and defeat

There would be no misery there

Only standing on one’s feet.

Happiness would be the choice,

On how to be, most of the day

Not many would wish anything else

There would be no reaper to pay.

Time would be endless

Things would live in harmony

In this tiny bubble

You would have no enemy.

That is just a falsified dream

Nothing can be that great

It is in real life we really live

Not clinging to the one that’s fake.

Tiny bubbles are great and all

But that is not realistic and real

Instead one must create those ideals

One must react and feel.

Don’t even

Don’t tell me how to feel or how to be

There is certain complicated parts to me.

I do not think it is your business and I am not looking for approval.

I spent my younger days worrying about that

What people thought when they looked at me

There is a certain stance people like to take,

They are all a bunch that’s filled with a whole lot of fake.

I see they have nothing better to do

Maybe I should pose to them a question or two.maxresdefault

“Do you act this way at home? or

“Is this reason why you are so alone?

I don’t think they would like me to

That is why instead I choose to talk with just a few.

A few of the best un-judgemental people I’ve met/

There is something special when people just accept you

Your flaws and faults, to name a few

Something that lasts when things make a mess of your life

There is a few who will stand by your side.

Don’t even pretend to understand all I have written

You probably think I am reading someone else’s notes.

Look at your life, and

See if you fit there

There is no more room for you in mine, so beware

I am done, finished , and through with it all

So long, see ya, wouldn’t want to be ya.
