Weight of Burdens, poem

Trudging day in till nightfall

Heavy burdens encircle me

Wanting desperately to lay it all down

Never much to relieve the weight from me

Have forgiven my own self a hundred times, or more

Just wanting to feel free

Feel free for the weaker me

For the me I could not be

But nothing breaks my burdens

For now.

    1. I just take one at a time, access and do what I can, what I cannot, I release myself by letting go.
Can take years and small steps, but hopefully one day…burdens will dissipate
