Poem

Visit by MwsR

There is a place whether in a dream or in life
That you can imagine yourself being, and leaving behind all the strife.
That place is a resting place for your soul and mind.
It is one that no one but you can find.
When shadows try to take your sun away
You can revisit this place and for a while stay.

A place for comfort, reflection, and rest
This place is simply the best.
Everyone has their own place like this
There is no challenge there, at least not in this.
Visit this place when you need to
Go there when you can, I plead.

When you get ready to pack
Take only what you need to come back.
Leave behind all the negativity and pain
Because with those things life surely will seem the same.
Revisit if and when you can
There your strength will help you stand.

Hope…MwsR Writings

We all face different things in our lives.
Seldom do we stop and realize what others go through.
I have known friends that hurt each day, carry guilt, and hurt. I know people who despite circumstances that were given to them, carry on each and every day.

It is never the journey ahead that hurts us… It is, however, our lack to properly prepare as we start that journey.
MwsR

Don’t forget others go through it, deal with it, and push past it… you can too.

Yes, it will hurt sometimes. Yes, it will change you some. Yes, it will most definitely impact those who are in it with you, in one way, shape, or form. This can most certainly be directly or indirectly.

But the good news is…
You can move through whatever journey is ahead… You can.

There is hope for today.💓

Ramadan, Umm what is it?

What do you say at the start of Ramadan?

Typically, the start of the month is welcomed with greetings such as “Ramadan mubarak!”

On the last day of Ramadan, which is Eid-al-fitr, the greeting changes to “Eid Mubarak.”

The last day of Ramadan in 2020 will be 23 May.

What is Ramadan?

Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, is a period of fasting observed by Muslims across the globe to celebrate “the best of times”.

It celebrates the first time the Koran was revealed to Muhammad, according to Islamic belief.

Fasting is only obligatory for healthy adult Muslims, anyone who is suffering from an illness, travelling, elderly, pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, chronically ill or menstruating are exempt from the practice.

The fasting period, during which Muslims are not allowed to eat or drink, is from dawn to sunset and Muslims engage in increased prayer activity.

Muslims often try and practice an increased self-discipline during the month of Ramadan.

In 2018 it starts on the evening of May 15 and ends in the evening of June 14.

Ramadan Kareem Quotes

“Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.” – Sahih Bukhari

“When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.” – Sahih Bukhari

“Fasting is the shield, it will protect you from the hellfire and prevent you from sins.” – Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

“He has left his food, Drink, and desires for my sake, The fast is for me, So I will reward (The fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times” – Sahih Al Bukhari

Ramadan is knocking at our door with holding all its blessings, grace, mercy and forgiveness; and calling all the true Muslims to perform their devotions.

Let dedicate your soul, mind and body for the devotion of the holy month of Ramadan and be blessed with maximum benefits.

Ramadan is the month of blessings for the Muslim society which is the opportunity to nourish all the seeds of their good deeds.

Let’s not change ourselves only for the holy month of Ramadan, but reform ourselves to devote for Allah till the death comes.

Though you cannot perform all the rituals perfectly during Ramadan, Allah will not see that perfectness, but the dedication you hold in your heart. Keep on trying.

Ramadan brings good news to all the true Muslims who have fear for their Lord in their hearts. So count every single day to be the better Muslim.

Your fast, prayer and dedication for Allah during Ramadan are the shield that will work for you in the life hereafter and protect you from the hellfire.

Oregano! Fascinating Powers

I love to travel and was fortunate enough to travel to Colombia, Thailand, Peru, and Nepal last year. While these countries are beautiful, exotic, and fascinating to visit, their sanitation, and water supplies—as well as food preparation—are not up to the same standards as we have in the United States. In spite of taking all the usual precautions, both my significant other and I got very ill in Colombia. In fact, we were sick for a good two and a half weeks after we got home, with all the symptoms of a serious Giardia infection, which is an amoebic parasitic infection. Symptoms include fever, aches, pains, chills, severe stomach pains, diarrhea, nausea, weight loss. It was miserable!

The general conventional treatment for giardia infections is a prescription antibiotic, which as  you probably already know, will wipe out all the beneficial bacteria in your body, as well as the bad stuff. In addition, many infections are now antibiotic-resistant, making them even harder to eliminate with conventional medical antibiotics. Before resorting to antibiotics, I thought I’d try a proven natural remedy first.

After doing some research, I purchased oregano oil capsules, took as directed, and was good as new in 24 hours. Now we never travel without it—and it has saved us numerous times! As soon as I feel any kind of tummy troubles coming on, I start taking the recommended amount as a precaution, and viola! All good! In fact, I can say, that since that trip to Colombia, I have traveled to Thailand, Peru and Nepal and have not had any ‘issues’ whatsoever!

Oregano oil to the rescue!

Oregano has been used all the way back in ancient Grecian times as a highly effective medicinal herb. The Greeks used it for wounds, insect bites, snakebites, digestive and respiratory infections–and for good reason–oregano oil is the ultimate natural antibiotic, antiviral, and antifungal!

Oregano essential oil has been proven scientifically to kill bacteria, viruses, fungal infections, and parasites, including giardia, an amoebic infection. Oregano oil has actually been scientifically proven to be effective against even antibiotic-resistant pathogens.

Oregano oil is also incredibly effective against food poisoning, stomach flu, candida infections, ringworm, eczema, sinus infections, nail fungus, acne, skin infections, insect bites, warts, allergies, and more. However, oregano oil is very strong and can be irritating, so it must be diluted in a carrier oil when using on the skin.

When taken internally, it is best to purchase and take as a prepared capsule, so you get the proper strength and dosage.

The active ingredients in oregano oil include phenols, carvacrol (60-80%) and thymol (5%) which provide its antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-viral and antioxidant components. Other ingredients include terpenes, pinene and terinene which contribute to the antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties.

All in all, over 800 studies have been conducted on oregano oil and its amazing healing abilities.

Carvacrol is scientifically proven to be highly effective in killing off dangerous staphylococcus, norovirus, E.coli, listeria, campylobacter, and salmonella—all organisms that can cause violent food poisoning. Even better than an antibiotic (which only kills bacteria), carvacrol is a highly effective antiviral as well. Carvacrol is also an anti-inflammatory aid and can be used to calm down redness and swelling due to injuries or allergic reactions and insect bites. Studies show carvacrol works against candida overgrowth in the mouth or digestive tract, helps kill cancer cells, and even helps to lower blood sugar.

Oregano essential oil is one of the most potent, versatile natural medicines. Keep it on hand at all times, and you are sure to enjoy its powerful and effective healing properties.  Speaking of other anti-viral substances, this article shows how powerful Quercetin is at fighting viruses.
