Our World, by MwsR
Scary sometimes this old world can get
Often times in the faces of our children, for a second we forget
Our world can be uncertain, often again and again
It can makes mice of men or kings of men.
We all strive to achieve goals
Doing our part as a whole.
Political greed often sneaks into one’s agenda
It flows into the business and people remember
A vote that can swing one way or another
Kids wanting to know things ask their fathers.
Affecting every one in different ways
Poor people beg for help and considerations
For their future generations
The world still keeps on spinning
Kindness and love are thinning
We all grow whether or not we know how
Listening to politicians give us hope for the now
Whether what they say comes true or not
Even if they are found to be in a tight spot.
Everyone wants hope
No one wants to be unheard, nope
What makes us trust again, each and every time?
What can one man do that can erase the troubles of time?
For me and mine, we simply pray
We know God will ultimately have his say.
At least not everything can happen in one day.
Be it today, be it tomorrow
We should give way to hope, not sorrow
Work for new things, maybe even barter
In rising up, we become smarter.
Let the worries of the world, pass away
Let us be a part of something better than worry
Stand up or be lost in the flurry.
