Poem

JUST by MwsR

The greatest love, loses the most

Unrelenting claim to anything but above

Despite the origin of the need

We all still bleed.

Sight that really never sees

Places in our mind that sets us free

Memories invade who we become

Satisfied, rarely are some.

Faults that turn the human agenda

Portions given are too few

Panic streams on our minds

A search begins for a limited time.

Generous our wounds are

Scabbing just to leave scars

Trapped illusions of grandeur among us

Flood the common sense we all should posses.

Violent people spreading discord and contempt

Fragile individuals are often pursued

Arrangements done in private

Keeping some silent as if there were no wrong.

Justice is either on the fence or under it

It never really is fair

We all live here and deal with it as best we can

But is that really living?

Sentiment is like a Band-Aid for some

Others want to take it for truth

But who can really judge another’s sentiment,

Not me or you.

Poetry helps the mind to unburden,

Helps relay a particular stream of thought

It encourages a person to be free

It even encourages me.

Sometimes truth is hidden behind actions

Every action has recourse

Make it count and do it right

So you can live with your own self, despite.
