Well,
How is everyone out there in our wonderful, yet complex world?
Today I have been rather busy. I have been putting my oven to good use. I have since 7:40 am this morning, Eastern Standard Time, cooked a pumpkin, made homemade vegetable beef soup(for my son on his birthday, since he asked me to). I also made a home-made pumpkin pie. I also scrapped the cooked pumpkin that I did today, into a container, as to make another pumpkin pie, possibly pumpkin bread, etc.
I made a homemade pound cake for my son’s birthday cake, since he asked me too. I loved smelling this stuff cooking all morning. Sure makes a person hungry. I have also acquired a younger person to help me make the pumpkin pie mixture. My granddaughter has been expressing a want to help me bake recently. She loves stirring and calls it her”working”. I just love her so.
Anyhow, been super busy cooking etc. Just wanted to share some of that and say Hello. Hurricane Florence is threatening our coast and I hope everyone is in a safe place.
Also,
I love sharing with you all. I really like to share my knowledge of things and my poems and my mind and my life. So I am going to sit down a spell and take a load off.
My animals already do, lol. They have an easy life.

This is my sweet boy, Poppy, formerly Popeye. He loves watching the birds and hummingbirds. He is beautiful and very loving.
He covers my head at night with his paws and his head. He sleeps like that.

I love my Meow Meow very much. He is the sweetest cat. Sometimes, he will press his head against mine to remind me he loves me too. He also loves to kiss me, and I enjoy that. He has brought me such great companionship and is a part of my family.
My son, who is my youngest child. He is still the same pretty eyed boy as in this picture. Although he is grown now and is 18, soon to be 19, he still has my heart.
This is Inky, he is my second oldest cat, and he is such a sweet boy. He constantly grabs my hands for me to rub on him. I can’t imagine my life without my Inky in it. He is and will always be precious.
