Write about/things going on around me

Oh wow, it seems like all I do is read posts, write a lot of posts, and comment all the time. I love it, don’t get me wrong, but it is time-consuming.

I have a lot going on in my life right now. My youngest is going to be joining the Navy. Although I am proud of the fact he is going to be doing something very unselfish and rewarding with his young life, I as a mother, am feeling mixed ways about it all. I worry over it and hope he will stay safe and will do exactly what he needs in life to be happy and content.

Also, my grandkids are always present and they deserve my attention ass much as possible. I love getting their hugs, seeing them smile, and hearing their beautiful little voices, except when they are crying, of course. I really enjoy my life with them. They make being a mother and grandmother some of the best of my life.

I am also celebrating my oldest birthday this weekend. She is the mother of those two grandkids I was writing about in the paragraph above. Looks like we will be going out to eat somewhere with family and then we shall find a place to buy something sweet to eat. She loves doing that normally. I asked her and that is what she has requested, so that it will be.

I also have another grandkid, he does not live with me but he is the child of my second daughter. He is , frankly, adorable. I enjoy seeing him and hugging on him. He is 8 months old and such a cute little boy. I don’t get to see him near as much as I would like. He is getting so sweet lately, he use to cry when someone spoke to him. He was not very people friendly but now he reaches for you. Of course, that is every grandmother’s dream, having their grandchild reach out for them, right?

Anyhow…

I have tried to include some things lately on my webpage. Things like my information share, which usually is something I want to share that comes from the internet news, or what not. Also, I am trying to include other poems from famous people and sometimes I find something I wan to talk about, or just write about. I hope it keeps people entertained, informed, and is relatable and relevant in some way, shape, or form. If it doesn’t meet any of those criteria, I apologize for that, and hope that something will one day.

I hope you all enjoy your day, night, or evening.

Take care of yourself and others,

MwsR ❤

Intermission/Poem share

INTERMISSION>

In the middle of the plot

Trying not to lose your spot

Having to take a break

Feeling the anticipation of returning

Working your way through the crowd

Seeking refreshment and a bathroom break

Thankful for this time because

You had to go.

Just like in life we need time to rejuvenate

To pick up our spirit and awake

We need moments like this

Time to separate

Time to work through our issues or rest from them

This is intermission for our soul and mind.

Even though life is important

It is  an intermission that  sometimes we need to take.

5 min
Ingredients
  1. 1 tbsp garlic infused olive oil
  2. 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  3. 1/2 cup asiago cheese (or just use 1.5 cups mozzarella)
  4. 1/3 cup tomato sauce (naturally low carb preferred, 3-4 net carbs or less)
  5. Grated parmesan cheese (to taste)
  6. Pizza/italian seasonings (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Heat a good non-stick pan (I used ceramic) up to medium heat and add the garlic oil.
  2. When the oil coats the pan and is shiny, add your mozzarella (it should start sizzling right away).
  3. Use a spatula to spread the cheese evenly and round the corners, like a pizza.
  4. Cook for about 3-5 minutes while it melts and starts to become dark around the edges.
  5. Once all the cheese has melted and it’s starting to brown, add the tomato sauce and spread around lightly with a spoon.
  6. Cook for another minute or so.
  7. Use a spatula and start sliding it around the edges of the pizza, and then underneath just to de-stick it from the pan, but not trying to lift it off the pan.
  8. Once the pizza is free from the pan, tip your pan and slide your pizza on to a foil-lined pan (you can use your spatula to guide it)
  9. Sprinkle your grated cheese and pizza seasonings.
  10. Let cool for about a minute.
  11. Cut into fours and enjoy!

My Darling

Small things can be great to.

Just like the part of my heart I share with you.

I stumble on the ways to show you my love in its truth

You try to understand regardless, but you are not a sleuth.

I fail at the things I try to show you

But my heart for you has always been true.

I mistake the things that you never say

I am slow sometimes, but you show me anyway.

I often wish for a simpler life

But that never happens, regardless of that I am still your wife.

My heart is yours to take,

Just don’t ever feel the need to hesitate.

Come with me my darling,  into our life’s cove

And we will spend our lives following each other’s love.
