Struggles

Seems like there is no one way

One answer for all

Things roll sometimes,

Sometimes they just fall.

Why can’t things always be easy

Able to be reached, to be changed?

I’m feeling some sort of way today

Reminiscing and inside myself, screaming

I always have to pay.

I might of changed somethings

Changed other things

But I feel so incomplete often

Awaiting what tomorrow brings.

Struggles don’t discriminate

They often replicate

Leaving behind confusion and doubt

Very hard for some people to take.

Like we need to breathe, to live

We need struggles too

It makes us stronger and we will survive.

Don’t fret

Not yet

Live as best you can

With and without and you’ll be set.

Obstacles

The smoke will clear but the smell will remain

Things that don’t move freely often stay the same

People are battling inside their souls

It is something that’s long been foretold

Obstacles here, obstacles there

If you can’t see them, you still are aware

What must we do but chug along

Do what we can even if that too becomes wrong

Search and you can find

Things that give momentary comfort and peace of

But obstacles will always be

There for you and me

It is how we move around them,

Struggle through them

That will matter when all is said and done

All in good time, like the shine from the sun

I am not the only one with Obstacles.

Poem

Please Try,
by MwsR

The pit of my stomach wants to give you more chances
Despite all the critical onlooker’s glances.
They think there is no hope for you
Yet they don’t love or hope for you as I do.
I am scared to let you lie to me again
I am afraid my forgiveness will fail here towards the end
I hurt for you
All those plans and things might not come true.
The telling you I love you is simple
But trusting you is hard and cumbersome, like water with a ripple
It would appear to be in control
But it is struggling, you know.
Inside each person, we need to decide whether the importance is given to unimportant things
And if along the road it will be worth all the pains.
Sometimes in a brief second, I catch glances of times past
In my heart what I want is for the good times to last.
Sadly, it is not in my hands
I have given you all my demands
Yet you shrugged and then walked away
Seems tears are all came from that one day
I fall to my knees and constantly pray.
Maybe one more day, maybe one more start
Or maybe it will stay heavy on my heart.
Please try!
You know why.

MwsR Poem

Aware by MwsR (POEM IS AL IT IS, BASED ON LIFE REALLY)

I’m so tired of trying
So much like a gun that’s through firing.
I have the capabilities to do more,
It just isn’t worth all the allure.
Maybe it was a trial run, or a possible misfire
Maybe my emotions are a liar.
Need me, only in case of emergency
It can’t be me anymore, you see!
I’ve done all I desire to do
Remember it wasn’t me but you.
There is a shift in power now
I’m taking over, someway, somehow.
Better if you look for another opportunity
Because I’m putting you away for my sanity.
I won’t get played any more
See we already been here, in this predicament before.
It’s nothing that it is the way it is
Just one to just dismiss.
There I said it, now you know
Don’t come to me unless you can show
what it means to say you care.
It’s more than words, you should be made aware.

Poem

True Life by MwsR

True life is never how the tv shows.

It’s more complicated than exposed.

In True life, there is a struggle

Day to day our lives we juggle.

True life is different from one day to the next,

It can start to feel sometimes like you’ve been hexed.

True life gives us love and loss, a lot

Seems time itself can’t be locked.

True life is powerful, poignant, and indiscriminative

It is weak, vulnerable, changing, and imaginative.

True life is a gift and yet can be an exchange,

IT is yours after all to rearrange.

Make of it what you will

Because in the end, it’s you that has to “pay the bill.”

Stops For A While, by MwsR

When a heart weeps, it seems to stop for a minute or two
Sometimes, it feels forever when it is about you
I often wonder why or how
But that’s not answered now.
You can only give until time or fate has changed
Sometimes, it never comes, often things get rearranged.
Sad is my heart, weeping inside
Sometimes, it stops for a minute or two
Often, it’s when I think of you.

It takes a Believer, by MwsR

It Takes A Believer
Swirling around, somewhere resting

Only to be awaken
Inconsistent messages start the quests

Only the impact remains
Friends that promised forever

In good times and in bad
Calling only whenever

Forgetting as usual
Family that wandered off into the abyss

Just secretly hid is all
It’s not them but their promises you miss

It’s the ones they actually kept
Memories they can anchor or sink us

That’s why there are life perservers
Blood that’s common

Actual connection that’s not
Words are not what we build upon

But actions are
Struggles teach us

Books don’t prepare our hearts
Words followed by, constant fussing

Sinking to the deepest
Chances to take

If only you’re willing
Come each day break

Ourselves to lead into
The first won’t ensure the best beginning

But the end will signal you
At the end or while leading

It takes a believer to start
