Orange Groove

Down in the orange groove where the orange trees grow

Lived a little ole man who you need to know.

He can fix you up with oranges and such

And if he likes you, you are in luck.

You will be stocked in oranges galore

And if you ask him, he will send you some more.

Nothing bad about that orange groove place

Everyone who visits never leaves without a smile on their face.

To bee or not to bee,

I would give you money if you’d give your honey to me.

Jack Frost

In the winter, always comes, someone everyone expects. Jack Frost is certain to arrive on time, every time. You can see his magic in the crystals that cover the earth, he is a wizard at such things. He captures the plants and their leaves, no one gets past his ultimate reach. He keeps things from flourishing and living. Just imagine what would happen if he ruled the night.

He is afraid of our sun. The sun warms everything in its view, even changes them to. The frost from Jack Frost is no match for the sun. It is a good thing to. The sun would not be there and all things would pass away. I like jack Frost better when he comes in the day.

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge!

Everyday I post three seemingly unrelated things and the challenge is to find a creative way to use those things. THE HAUNTED WORDSMITH

This can be anything you want it to be…the point is to have fun, share, and be inspired.

To participate, simply link to this page (creating a pingback) or posting a link to your contribution in the comment section.

Remember, anything goes…just have fun!

Today’s things are: basket, xylophone, scream

The Hand

shallow focus photography of red xylophone

I walk upon a scene

I see a basket sitting there full of something

It is a xylophone

When it starts to  play it starts to moan

Not like the usual sort of tune you know

When looking closer

I see a hand playing it

A hand all by itself

No body around to witness it

I let out a scream in my astonishment!

I wonder why this basket is here

With no one standing near

I search with my eyes a little each way

Just me standing there

Scared to death

Looking at this basket with a xylophone

And a severed hand playing it, all alone

I want to let out the biggest scream,

But I scared that hand will then, come after me.

Three Things Challenge

Today’s things are: buzz, July, load

BUZZ/ Poem by MwsR

There is noise that I can hear

It passes right by my left ear

Should I look and take a peek?

I see it, it looks so sleek

It is a bee that is saying to me,

Buzz, buzz, buzz, I am free.”

JULY/Poem by MwsR

July is hot

July is definitely not

My favorite month at all.

I wish it cooler

I wish it shorter

So I can get it over.

There is a tremendous burden/ LOAD, one carries upon their back. They have trouble letting it go. It the burden of self judgement and shame. If one could let that go and see how much a difference it would make in their lives, they would never pick that LOAD up again and try to carry it around.

Random Acts of Kindness Award/RAKA

Hi everybody.

I have seen all sorts of awards circulating through WordPress. I thought why don’t I come up with one to. So I have.

Random Acts Of Kindness Award, RAKA

This award is given to anyone you think shows kindness to another blogger or writer or to the community here on WordPress.

If you know someone who has shown you or anyone else an act of kindness please nominate them for this award.

I believe that any act of kindness no matter how small can significantly impact another’s life. So I feel it is great to acknowledge those who practice kindness.

The rules are simple.

1- Tell who you nominate and why.

2= Copy and share the picture that shows the award, posted above.

3- Share  a paragraph of something that impacted your own life in the way of receiving kindness or how you extended kindness to someone else.

For instance, ” I once was waiting in a drive thru line for 20 minutes. I was in a hurry but the line did not move much, it felt like. My day was getting worse by the moment. When I got up to the drive thru window, the cashier said someone had paid for my meal already. That really made my day a lot better.”

4- Nominate anyone or share to your own page. If you so choose to Participate. Tag or pingback to the original person who nominated you, or the original post.

I nominate several who have shown me kindness along the way here on WordPress.

Just to name a few! These people have had kind words, and helped me in one way or another since I joined WordPress. I appreciate it guys!

There are definitely more than these that have been kind or had kind words, words of encouragement etc. Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU!

3. Thank whoever nominated you!
4. Write a letter to someone who means a lot to you to spread some positivity around the Internet – anyone will do!
5. Nominate 5-10 more people for the award and go let them know about it in their comments!

Thank you so much, THE HAUNTED WORDSMITH! I appreciate this, coming from such a great writer from you is a big compliment.

I will write a letter to my family. I cannot single out one person. My whole immediate family means everything to me.

Thank you for encouraging me to do what my heart leads me to do. It is not everyday that you get to do something you like and have the support of those around you in the whole thing.  I knew from the first baby to the last that you guys were and are my world. If you hadn’t loved me so, I do not know where I would be right now.

I am not easy to love at times. I argue, nag and stay on your butts a lot, but only out of love. I appreciate you letting me be goofy and silly and weird. That is just my way.

You guys are my whole world in a basket of love. I wouldn’t want to go through this world without you in it.

Love MwsR <3

I nominate these people, should they accept and participate.
