Mattered- poem by MwsR

Before, I have felt sadness

Because of some one’s silence.

Often,I am tired

Never, have I been fired.

Further more,I get bored

Back in time, I played ball and scored.

Along my life path, I have learnt a few things

In school, I used to sing.

After my life is through

I hope in some good way I’ve mattered to you.

Why Do Cheetos Have Cheese Dust?

What is Cheetos cheese dust?

Most cheese dust, whether it’s found in packets of Kraft macaroni and cheese, on Cheetos or on Doritos, is made from the same thing: dehydrated processed cheddar cheese. Most cheesy snacks are made by spray-drying (blasting liquid cheese into a chamber with hot air). This makes the cheese evaporate, and a solid substance is left behind. Add some artificial neon orange coloring and you’ve got yourself some Cheetos dust.

Keto Diet Dangers~ You Should Know The Risks

keto rash Keto flu, keto breath, keto crotch… What’s next? Unfortunately, new side effects of the keto diet continue to emerge. People are now breaking out in full-body, painful rashes after going on the extremely low-carb diet. And perhaps the worst part is that this “keto rash” can leave brown marks on the surface of the skin that stick around for life.

One of the most popular diet trends of this decade, the idea behind the keto diet is that restricting carb intake to an extremely low number while eating large amounts of fats will trick the body into entering ketosis, a state in which the body burns fats for fuel. Ketosis is difficult to maintain, but once it is achieved, the body can react in strange (and in this case painful) ways.

If you search “keto rash” on Reddit, you’ll find dozens of dieters begging for help with the condition, sharing anecdotes of excruciating itching and discomfort. The rash tends to start near the chest and spread, reaching every part of the body, including the scalp.

“I noticed a rash across my left boob within 3 days,” one Reddit user recalled. “By day 14 (Saturday), my rash was up and down both of my boobs, in my cleavage, along my bra line in the back and all over my neck, into my hairline. It was PAINFUL, burning, itching. I was insanely irritable. It looked horrific.”

One Reddit user, ketoko, said they had been wearing gloves to bed to prevent from scratching throughout the night. “I’m starting to develop scabs and blisters and it just hurts really bad,” ketoko said in a post.

Even once the rash subsided, some found that the marks stuck around for good.

“I spent years trying to overcome insecurities. I decided to try keto to finally change for the better,” user donut-peach said, “but now I have a totally different problem that prevents me from showing my skin … it was spreading too rapidly and left behind discoloration. I now am off keto and have hideous marks all over my chest, shoulders, neck, and back.”

The condition is called prurigo pigmentosa. Existing scientific literature shows a link between ketosis and the rash, though studies show other intervening factors (such as sunlight, extreme heat, allergens and sweating) may worsen the condition. Going on the keto diet is not the only way humans can enter ketosis. Conditions such as diabetes mellitus and anorexia nervosa can also lead to this state, as well as fasting and dieting.

A 2018 case study showed that prurigo pigmentosa can only really be treated by eating a lot more carbs — i.e., quitting keto. Other options, such as topical creams and anti-inflammatory drugs, may temporarily relieve symptoms — but if you don’t quit the diet, the rash is likely to return in full force once you stop using them. “There is no dietary treatment option to successfully treat the rash without sacrificing ketosis,” the study reads. And once the rash disappears, there is no known method of getting rid of the dark brown spots prurigo pigmentosa leaves behind.

Not everyone on the keto diet experiences this symptom. But you should know if there are serious risks to a diet before you try it.

As by MwsR

As I already knew
That nothing would change my shade of blue.
It was a color I was very familiar with
A common in my life ever since being a Smith.
My goals were simple back in the day
It was to be a singer up on a stage.
To be applauded for a song
Not knowing it was in my personal life, I needed applause all along.

As I dreamed of being a nurse
I wanted to help others who had it worse.
I never felt that I couldn’t brighten someone’s day
But more often than not I wanted to cheer people up with words that I could say.
See, helping someone made my own problems fade
But unfortunately it just took my mind of off them, they never really went away.

As life has a way of making things seem so heavy and hard
Our hopes, dreams, and aspirations get marred.
Things that mattered once now fall on stony ground
They cannot recoup nor any abundance is found.
Sadly they die and disappear
Nothing can grow there, sometimes for years.

As if that was that
It comes and leaves from where it is at.
No rhyme nor reason
No hope, no change of the season.
Nothing but despair
That is all that is left all to often, there.

As a leaf falls to the ground,
We will too.
But if we are lucky and a strong wind blows through,
It will carry us and our troubles will be few.

As surely as I write,
One day things will again, be alright.
There is no need to worry over spilt milk
It can easily be cleaned.
If the smell can be withstood
Then things will get back to normal like they should.

As you read this belief in things, hope for things, the dream of things, while you can.
Don’t listen to the opinions of just any man.
No one can make a future for you,
You have to believe in yourself, it’s true.

Thread a long piece of wire through two 7-inch straws, leaving about 30 inches of excess wire on one end (image 1). Use needle nose pliers to create a bend in the wire between the two straws (image 2). Thread a 2.5-inch straw onto the short side of the wire, bending the wire between it and the 7-inch straw to form a triangle (image 3). Twist the open ends of wire together to close the isosceles triangle (image 5).

Slide the long end of the wire back up through the first 7-inch straw (image 1) and thread another 7-inch straw onto the same wire, bending the wire between the two straws (image 2). Then, bend the excess wire at the end of the straw to hold it in place.

Thread a 2.5-inch straw onto the same wire, to the bend (image 1). Bend the wire, then thread it back through the first 2.5-inch piece, connecting the two 2.5-inch straws and creating half of the pyramid base (images 2 & 3). The two wires should now meet. Bend the long wire at the corner, then thread another 2.5-inch piece onto it, creating a triangular base (image 4). Wrap the long wire around one corner of the base to secure (image 5).

Place an air plant (Tillandsia) in the middle base of the planter, hang and enjoy! When your plant’s ready for water, take it out of the base, soak thoroughly in a bowl of lukewarm water and sit it upside down on a paper towel to dry.
