Recurring Dreams? What Do They Mean?

Of all the dreams humans may experience in deep sleep, a recurring dream may feel the most mysterious — and in some cases, the most terrifying. Dreams can vary greatly from person to person; the American Sleep Association notes that people, on average, experience three to five dreams every night, usually lasting between 20 and 30 minutes in length. Because dreams tend to form when humans are in their deepest sleep (a.k.a REM sleep, when your brain recharges overnight!), it is not uncommon to have sweet, pleasant dreams right before confusing ones or even scary nightmares.

Victoria Falls, locally called Mosi-oa-Tunya for “The Smoke that Thunders”, is on River Zambezi along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Two national parks lie within the area around the falls. As one of the largest waterfalls in the world, the falls spray River Zambezi forest thus giving it “rainfall” 24 hours a day. During the full moon at sunset, the moon’s reflection on the water forms a rainbow (“moonbow”).

One of my hobbies is lurking in a Facebook group called something along the “Trader Joe’s Meal Ideas for Busy Moms.” As in any Facebook group, this one has a fair amount of drama, and several recurring themes: “Look at this bug I found in this bag of produce,” “Look at my charcuterie board,” and “Is this mold?” are a few of my favorite Facebook post genres that appear on a daily basis.

History of Ukraine

Ukraine has a long and troubled history. Early in the Christian era the Ukranian steppes were overrun by various invaders, among which were Huns, Goths and Avars. From the 4th to 7th centuries the first Slavic community was established in the area. A Varangian dynasty from Scandinavia settled in Kiev in the 9th century and proceeded to free the Slavs from Khazar domination and then unite them in them in Kievan Rus.
