Homeschool…Picking Out A Name
So, I have been contemplating what my homeschool’s name will be. After reading several articles and all the suggestions about considerations for a homeschool name, the main thing I learned was that you will be putting this name on the record books, graduation diplomas, etc. The suggestions were to carefully consider the meaning behind the name and to take a step back and see what “message” you send with a name.
I know it might seem silly to some but I wanted a name that reflects what homeschool with me might mean, or why it is special. After seeing several names that others had used I came up with a few of my home. I’m just not sure which one I want to use and if I will choose another one.
As anyone who is following me knows, I love ❤️ ‘s. I use them in my poetry book titles and collect them, and buy heart stuff.

A sunflower, God grew, that has unopened all the way.
First thought was, ”this is cool.”
Second thought was, ”guess God’s not finished with it, too!”
He most certainly is not finished with a lot of us. Never give in to the pressures of hurrying. Things take time, we take time. Don’t get discouraged.
Like the sunflower, we all are imperfect yet others can and will still love us. We can still give God glory. We can still make a difference.
Just think about it.

I was moved by something someone said today in my church. The person had been missed in a number of Sunday sermons. As he recollected, it was almost two years. I actually think that was close but undoubtedly a long time in his eyes. See he had knee surgery that went wrong. He is in his eighties and was a very strong and stout man. That is before his knees started giving him issues. He had a previous surgery on the other knee and when it was healed up he decided to get his other one fixed. He did not do good with healing and because of complications and a diagnoses of dementia, he found himself inside a rest home, or a rehabilitation group home. The rest was he could not attend services anymore and do the individual things for himself that he use to do. His wife was not able to bring him back home.
This man, whom I call a friend and Christian brother, has had the opportunity to come to several services thus far. His son is making an effort to bring him. I and everyone at our church love this dear man. It has been wonderful seeing him and getting a hug. He went up before the church today, walking aided by a cane he now needs to control his balance. He stood there and talked to the congregation about how thankful he was to be in such caring places. He also spoke of how thankful he was for all the calls, cards, visits, and prayers offered up on his behalf. As he spoke I felt his sincerity and gratefulness. It blessed my heart and I was also saddened at the aging population that attends my church. We have very few under fifty years of age, there. I thought of the many others who might someday face what he has. He impressed me by his thankfulness. When he could of easily been depressed or down in the dumps he chose to be happy and grateful. His whole life has changed for him. He is now separated from his home, his wife, his church, and many other things he once had. Still he smiles, still he pray, and still he continues life.
I am not so sure I could be so thankful if it were me. Often we fail to see that things could be worse. We often don’t count our blessings! Far to often we blame others and circumstances. I was moved today by someone who lost a lot yet gained so much more. That is what a personal relationship with our God and Savior can do for a person.

Spammers! Go Away! I Can’t Stand You
I am just beyond furious this morning. How many out there check your spam folder? I do all the time. I haven’t in about two days. I have just had over 1.5k spam links posted in the comments of my pages. PLEASE NEVER CLICK A LONK IN MY COMMENTS!
I have had to deleted them slowly using twenty at a time to get deleted. I am now down to over 700 left to delete. Does anyone know a faster way to delete these? Please let me know.
They use different .com’s and different user names. Each has a stupid link to some other spam or scam they are trying to get someone to click on.
I am beyond mad. I am disappointed in knowing that others will sabotage someone else’s stuff. If you are that kind of person shame on you!!! You are a waste of creative-ism and you need to find a hobby, a life , or anything else to occupy your time.
AGAIN, Please do not click on any link present in the comments of my pages. They cannot put a link in my post but they can in the comments. MY POST LINKS SHOULD BE FREE AND CLEAR OF SPAMMERS.
Sorry to anyone who has clicked on these comment links.

We all face different things in our lives.
Seldom do we stop and realize what others go through.
I have known friends that hurt each day, carry guilt, and are hurt. I know people who despite circumstances that were given to them, carry on every day.
It is never the journey ahead that hurts us… It is, however, our lack to properly prepare as we start that journey.

Don’t forget others go through it, deal with it, and push past it… you can too.
Yes, it will hurt sometimes. Yes, it will change you some. Yes, it will most definitely impact those who are in it with you, in one way, shape, or form. This can most certainly be directly or indirectly.
But the good news is…
You can move through whatever journey is ahead… You can.
There is hope for today.💓

Always try to remember that we live fleeting moments and it is what you do in this world, that’s kind, loving, generous, and with good intentions, those things will endure forever and bless you immensely. They will help you through the sad times.
