Silently we search for something, anything

Patiently we put off things just to give time to that waiting

It is a thing we often do the most alone

Never telling anyone what we feel inside or what is wrong.

There can come no answers from people’s glances

Only the soul is that direct and true

It does not confuse us or distort our trust

What it requires from us

It is best to find out

Silently it actually says so very much

It never even needs a human touch

Souls are silent answers the things within

The things we patiently wait on to either start or end

Our feelings follow suit with what our souls silently say

We often time get in its way.

Emotional robots we are

Letting ourselves be told how to feel

Often time we don’t listen to our soul and its silence

We should, before we lose the ability to actually hear.

Inside Park/Poem by MwsR

beautiful blur close up delicate

Inside it is an attraction for sure

Not easy to navigate through

I know that it will cost for someone to explore

But I cannot say anything more.

Life is strange there, inside of me

Nothing there is easily understood

Anything can surely appear

Trying hard to always keep out those drifts of tears.

Inside it is never quite

If you were to see what all goes on in there

You would surely be scared

I know because I am the one who has had to care.

Parks should be exciting and fun

But if it the inside one.

There is just discord

Especially when you enter on your own accord.

Inside Parks come with no clear direction

Nothing is free

There may be turmoil to see

When it is inside me.

So enter softly, patiently, and calm

I often tell people being here is no fun.

It is merely “to occupy one’s curiosity”

And they leave, usually.

No one really comes there and stays for long

It is most unpleasant at times

I try to keep it free of clutter and trash

But it is bound to happen, inside, alas.

So come if you wish

Don’t take anything with you

I run this park all on my own

It is hard to maintain, when you hurt all alone.

Inside Parks are inside all of you

They have things that attract

And they have things that can make a person blue

Enter cautiously, take nothing away

So the inside park can continue, yet again, another day.

Sadness/Poem share

Too much because of too little

A lot because of the feelings.

Time is too late because the heart was too fake

Endless because it has overflowed the soul.

Infinite it will remain.
Without warning it climbed onto your  very life

Taking under its own self, the only escape.

Parched are your eyes from losing too many tears, while seeing so clearly.

If band aids could cover one’s inner hurts.
Desperately anguish survives

To merely show one of what hold that it has on them

Breaking anything that gets in its path

It will not waver from its wrath.

To simply exist is its special torture.
Longing becomes survival

Survival just means to be here or there

Nothing really to gaze upon and understand

Imaginatively giving you it’s reprimand.

One chance, backed into a corner

Frantic for escape

When this sadness is the captor.

Sadness will have the upper hand.

Don’t Think About Me/Poem Share

Each time when I happen to cross your mind

Think of just what you’ve left behind

Think of all the days that’s gone

And how much time I’ve been alone

Each picture that was once so proudly displayed

Now is hidden or tucked away

There is not a memory around of me now

Just thoughts in your mind that simply just goes round

Each word or mention of me in passing

Ducking from all the questioning

What to say about decisions made

Because in your heart so heavily they’ve laid

Each tear that was shed was it from regret

Or was it self-pity that you wanted to get?

Shame how time changes some men

Kind of scary to think you’ve forgotten about the sin

Each family event that you’ve planned

One less family member to get the upper hand

Time has a way of showing whose true

Again I’m sorry that it couldn’t be you

So each time I am in your head

Remember it was away from you I was led

Don’t think about me

If only in your mind is where I’ll be

Actions was all it would have taken

For me not to have felt forsaken

Don’t just don’t think about me.

I’m in charge of my life can’t you see?

Each thing I’ve not forgotten

Each word I’ve memorized

Each step from you and you’re still surprised!

Don’t think about me.

Above All Else/Poem

No one should wake up and say to their self, “You are worthless”

Yet often times there is someone who feels helpless.

Something is broken, not right

Someone tossed and turned all night.

People are fragile when it comes to emotions

They have so much inside it can cause a commotion.

Desperate they search for the easiest way

To hide all their emotions and tuck them away.

Regardless of effort their effort is often not enough

This world can be domineering and rough.

People get beat down, often times their heart starts to bleed

They take scraps instead of what they need

Settle for something instead of what they deserve

Rejected and torn, they use up their reserve

Without much warning they dissolve away

The parts that were created to last and stay

The heart is usually the first

They can’t replace what makes their soul thirst.

This vicious cycle repeats and depletes

One’s basic worth and self needs

Over time we grow accustom to being nothing

Having no heart left for something

It all starts with feeling worthless

Regardless of ones conscious

In spite of all effort given

Don’t stop believing

In yourself

Above all else.

Torino, Blue Continued

There is just something about the things we recall from a young age and the different one we have when we recall as adults.

Blue always had things that held special significance to her and thru her childhood. The one she remembers fondly is the Ford Torino. The family owned a royal blue Torino. This car was so huge it felt like a house on wheels to Blue. The color was one she favored, See the source imagebecause she felt a fondness towards blue things in comparison to her blue eyes. It was something she had heard time and time again, how her eyes were the loveliest color of blue.  She identified with blue a lot, thus her name was Blue, too.

This Torino was not the first family car she remembered. The family had owned a VW bug when she was smaller and it was just her and her big sister. When her brother came along the family got this Torino to accommodate the family dynamics. Back in this time and era, no one was required to wear a seatbelt. It was not made into law when she was small, so she could ride anywhere she wanted.

Sometimes Blue rode in the floorboard. She loved how every bump in the road was felt. She enjoyed the bouncing when they rode over a pothole or bump. She often would lay on her back in the floorboard and look out the windows of that Torino and follow along with her eyes everything that flew past. It was so cool for her to lay there and just enjoy. Fairly often she would climb onto the back dash and lay there. Imagine the people who saw that! A kid riding in the back window of the big blue car. She did not care to think about things of that nature, she just enjoyed her time, whenever she could.

This car, she often thought would be a great boat. She often imagined that the car could float. This car resembled a boat to her. It had a very large hood and front. She could just see herself riding a top the hood as the car floated on the river. She often thought it would be cool to put some flowery curtains in the windows of that car, and make a little cabin inside. This car had great potential, she thought.

Blue thought this car was special. There was just something about it. It could have been the room it had in it, or maybe the wide windows , or perhaps the large leather seats were the most appealing part. It really was hard to pinpoint why she loved it, she just did. She liked the idea that she never had to sit right on top of her big sister when they went out and about. That was a definite plus. Nothing worse than being cramped while riding to and from some place. She most definitely hated that.

Sometimes when her dad was driving to the store, he would turn the wheels left and right in a fashion that slid her from one side to the other. This was due in part to the large bench back seat. It was slicker than glass. Her little self slid back and forth so easy when her dad turned curves. If her dad was in a bad mood and angry, she knew that he would sling her around. His driving was rough when he was in a bad mood, Often she was asked to tag along to the store and back, He always liked her company it seemed.

She never questioned that kind of attention. Perhaps she should had, but she was just  naïve little girl who assumed the world was a good place. In her home she assumed the same.

To be continued….

Not In Vain/ Poem share

Not in Vain

The day bursts out whether we are ready or not

It is a scene for our life’s living spot.

We walk through it either alone or together

Trudging or trodding through all sorts of weather.

At day’s end we recap the day

Sometimes without or with something left to say.

Eventually falling to sleep

Exhausted from the life we often keep.

For more often than not we want more chances

A chance to give people or things more glances.

To either cherish or complete someone, something.

Trying hard not to live our whole life in vain.

Mangled/poem by me, MwsR

Totally twisted, broken in between

But still not as one would make it seem

I do not pretend to play stupid or dumb

I feel as though, my expressions are all turning numb.

Like a mangled body waiting to be discovered

I wait for someone who will uncover

I cannot be what I used to be

I hardly remember what used to be me

I am mangled and twisted, and hard to figure out

But I assure you I have a will and am not without

Feeling and needs and such

I am normal and that is not too much

Find me when I am mangled

You will find me fragile, as I dangle

It is what it is,

And I guess, that is all there is.
