Poem and thoughts

Shadows…by MwsR

Remnants of pain

Scars of mistakes

Debts that you can’t escape

Patterns that have been repeated

Crosses that we must bear

Promises that we have shared

Forgiveness that isn’t deserved

But given despite that

In our hearts is where this is at

Courage to continue

Thoughts and changes

They bring about exchanges

Shadows don’t define our real person

They merely show us some parts of us

You can change your shadows

You can make a different one

It is possible to …

Change, redefine and renew

*When we keep things foremost in our life they control our thoughts. So if we redirect our thoughts, our lives, and learn to forgive ourselves we can have a better life.

MwsR Thoughts

Thoughts….MwsR

If it’s true that we can find love from the most unexpected place….I want it
If it is true that the morning brings a new beginning…I pray I never miss one.
If what people say about peace is true…I want my share.
If you are reading this and life has beaten you down….reach for the heavens there you will find comfort.
If we get forgiveness… I sure need it because I fail often.
If you feel you can’t keep going…you can! Just believe it is possible.
**So many If’s!!!
Life will keep moving. It is you though who has the power to change and direct your own life.
Don’t delegate your happiness or peace to someone or something else. Choose your own path.

Poem and thoughts

Sad Eyes by MSR, me

I believe there are trials we cannot see,
Spaces filled without joy or glee
Things that bother us, but remain unspoken
Almost like a vase that’s broken
The vase cannot serve its purpose anymore
We, like a vase, can carry others
Keeping them safe, one with another
But broken, we can’t
Even if in a slant ……
Look into another’s eye
Some make you laugh
Some make us cry
Sad Eyes are a message
Sometimes you’ll see it right off
Sometimes and often, you won’t

If you want to make a change
You can simply find some joy
Joy is not easily found all the time
More than not we have to search
You can’t be happy for others, They have to be.
You can’t fix others
You just need to fix you, find your joy, share your hope
Others will see positive, search for their hope, their joy, just because you have.
Regardless of how you were, you can be that light, that positive for someone else.
Perfect does not exist, don’t keep looking for it, you’ll be disappointed and you’ll get tired and fail.
Be grateful, be thankful
Have an awesome day!

Plagued By MwsR

Footsteps seem to float after the millionth step I take

Plagued by the thoughts and “what if’s and “how come”

Am I the only one?

Breathing increases as my mind races through all the history

Apologetic some, but mostly filled with remorse

I sometimes wish I could scream tell my voice becomes hoarse.

Plagued by the circumstances that always seemed to surround me

I was innocent yet guilty by association and by who I loved

Temporary cause for insanity searching, still praying to the powers above.

Plagued by missed opportunities

Were they simply a smear in time?

The journey certainly was all mine.

Memories are jaded, conversations were of equal influence

Persistent ramblings trying to search

All while trying to stay on my perch.

My life, my story

Plagued by the position I was in,

The once in a lifetime, that was back then.

Quote

My dog

Goodbye By MwsR

Her views of the world are somewhat abnormal,

Like rain that fills the grave, of someone who lies cold.

Neither consequence or percept will determine her next move.

The path is determined by things long ago and old.

Her values are placed in the things and people who continually are there.

Like texts books in an abandoned high school, they can be still relevant.

Often reading the same chapter of her life each and every time, she searches for meaning

Never, is there a need for the final chapter, just the subsequent ones post haste.

Her laughter will definitely hide her million insecurities,

It is contagious and appears to be the real deal,

Often it will hide her heart, and the way she more than not, feels.

Wise to some degree, she has learnt who to share her dreams with.

With the slightest hesitations and reserve, she’ll share once more.

Her pain serves as a crown for her, each stone in it, is a lesson she must learn

Each adorning detail, is from all the tedious effort she gives, in just living.

With doubts and fears, she will live each day

Never fully resting, never really trusting, but always clinging to the good in others

The good that will justify her giving her trust, if it really is trust.

Her appearance can hide a multitude of worry.

You would not guess so much, just by looking at her.

It would appear that things are fine and dandy

Rich and blessed,

Like even her own heart takes a rest.

Her goodbye’s are never really goodbye’s

She will speak the words, but hold them in her mind.

That one little hope or that thing that she holds onto, will never tire

It will never let go.

Always, it will be there, in the creases of her thoughts,

On the pages that she writes,

In the songs that she sings.

Planting…thoughts

Daisy…oh,this is my favorite flower!

I just love working the earth with my own two hands. This time of the year things are being planted, they are growing and then producing. I have been busy this year. My husband made me a garden shed with raised beds. This is the first time I’ve had raised beds.

I just love this. My husband but the wood himself. He has a portable sawmill.

There are tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cabbage, cosmos, and green peppers in there. I hope it will be a good harvest. I’ll let you know. I also have a lemon tree in there, for which I’m going to have to put in a more permanent pot, very soon. This is my first time with a lemon tree and it is dwarf size…or patio size. I hope it grows well.

I also have more flowers this year. I am starting most by seed but have planted some as well. I love feeding the butterflies, bees, and birds. I have corn planted also. I just love corn on the cob. Don’t you?

I have strawberries in a huge pot. I put one pepper plant in a pot. Some tomatoes are hanging and pot, along with onions, chives, lavender, cilantro, dill, etc. I have oregano in the ground it survives year after year. Banana trees, I never have to replant. I wish they produced bananas but they haven’t. They will multiply.

Pineapple plant.
Banana Trees
Avocado Plants, I’ve grown from seeds.

So there are a few pictures I wanted to share.

I am sitting outside with a slight breeze blowing, listening to my wind chimes, and the sounds of the birds. It is a wonderful, relaxing thing to do.

I hope to see the fruits of my labor and hope my family will enjoy all the good I’ve worked hard to grow.

Hope everyone is great and I will see you on this side of the rainbow…🌈
