This award was created by me, Mws R for the sole purpose of connecting people who have had something shown to them, or gave to them that expresses a kind and loving nature, perhaps a kind and loving heart, or a wonderful spirit.

My hopes in creating this was so that we all can share, unite, and rejuvenate our heart of giving. I am hoping that is spreads like a wild-fire and we all find some sense of love, unity and sharing out of it all.

Can Nonstick Pans Cause Weight Gain?/Information Share

New research from Harvard suggests that they do.

Most nonstick pans feature chemicals called “perfluorolky substances”. These substances make surfaces resistant to food, water, and grease.

This compound can leach out into our food. In the two-year study this is the results…

  • Subjects with the highest concentration of PEAS in their bodies gained twice as much weight as those with the lowest concentration.

Experts believe that these chemicals interfere with the body’s ability to produce and respond to hormones. This can lead to increased appetite and fat storage.

  • One should discard any old, scratched, or damaged nonstick cookware.
  • Try using ceramic or enamel coated pots and pans.
  • Use well seasoned cast iron cookware which are naturally nonstick.

Bob Marley – redemption song acustic/ Song Share

Lyrics

(No Kwazulu, No Kwazulu)
(No Boputatswana)
(No Lebowa). Repeat
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
For none of them can stop the time
How long shell they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say it’s just a part of it
We’ve got to fulfill the book

[Chorus]
So won’t you help to sing (No Kwazulu)
These songs of freedom (No boputatswana)
‘Cause all I ever hear (No Transkei)
Is Redemption Song

Soldiers march their freedom
Out into the city streats
And though it seems like a loosing battle
These can be no retreat

[Chorus]

Redemption Song” is a song by Bob Marley. It is the final track on Bob Marley & the Wailers‘ ninth album, Uprising, produced by Chris Blackwell and released by Island Records.[2] The song is considered one of Marley’s greatest works. Some key lyrics derived from a speech given by the Pan-Africanist orator Marcus Garvey entitled “The Work That Has Been Done”.[3]

At the time he wrote the song, circa 1979, Bob Marley had been diagnosed with the cancer in his toe that later took his life. According to Rita Marley, “he was already secretly in a lot of pain and dealt with his own mortality, a feature that is clearly apparent in the album, particularly in this song”.

Unlike most of Bob Marley’s tracks, it is strictly a solo acoustic recording, consisting of his singing and playing an acoustic guitar, without accompaniment. The song is in the key of G major.

“Redemption Song” was released as a single in the UK and France in October 1980, and included a full band rendering of the song. This version has since been included as a bonus track on the 2001 reissue of Uprising, as well as on the 2001 compilation One Love: The Very Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers. Although in live performances the full band was used for the song the solo recorded performance remains the take most familiar to listeners.[citation needed]

In 2004, Rolling Stone placed the song at #66 among “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time“. In 2010, the New Statesman listed it as one of the Top 20 Political Songs.[4]

Bacon Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Frittata/Recipe Share

Apple-Bacon-Frittata-1

Bacon Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Frittata
Ingredients
• 1 slice of bacon, diced
• 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced
• 1 tablespoon ghee or organic butter
• 3 large eggs
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon orange zest
• 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In an 8-inch oven-proof skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat until almost crispy. Set bacon aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Add ghee and apple to the skillet over medium heat and saute for about 5 minutes until the apples are tender.
In a small bowl, whisk eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, and orange zest. Pour into skillet over the apples. Sprinkle with cooked bacon. Swirl until eggs start to set. Pop the skillet into the oven for approximately an additional 3-5 minutes to allow the eggs to set on top.
While the egg mixture is in the oven, heat the maple syrup on medium-high in a small saucepan to allow the syrup to reduce.
Slide your frittata onto a plate and drizzle with maple syrup.
Enjoy!

Sure/Poem Share

Are we ever really sure…

Sometimes things are too much

Too much for us to handle.

Sometimes we are like a clasp on a sandal

Easy to work but with not much fore thought.

Sometimes we can fail to work

To serve our purpose.

When clasps don’t work any longer we replace it with another one.

Clasps serve one purpose ,they are to hold things together,

To keep things from separating.

Sometimes we lose the intended purpose.

Too often we just see this one thing…

When there are many more all around us.

If we were meant to only have one clasp,  or better yet given one clasp to last…

What care we would had  taken of it!
