Once Upon A Time, by MwsR

Once upon a time
There was no reason or rhyme
My heart held a song
It was about where I belong
My eyes held the pain
Of my sorrow that was attached to my name.
I had a load of questions
Some good, some bad, and it was over decisions
My head was filled with trouble
My mind kept me in that bubble.
I exploded one day
It left me in an obscure way.
Now I live in the,
Someday, somehow
And this girl seemed content,
Though her heartstrings were bent
If you’ve been there you know what I meant.
The End is not here, nope
Peace, Love, and Hope.

There is calmness after a storm.
It might take minutes…days…years before things look better. Yet right after the rain, the flowers drink. The plants and trees are watered. Animals in the outdoors also find water to drink.
There are subtle things but important changes and much-needed help that can come from a storm, be it in life as well as in nature. Yes, there can also be fear and damage during a storm. Damage can take a while to repair or fix.
But you can’t deny the benefits.
Look at your storms…find the benefits and also put much-needed perspective into them.
You can’t have joy if you have never experienced a storm or two.
