Poem

Show by MwsR

When you hold me
Hold me so close our hearts blend.
If you care for me at all
Make me believe without having to ask.
Whenever you desire to be with me
Show me like a poem written in visual words.
If you want me to be in your life,
Show me you do, like a puzzle piece knows it fits in its place.
Make me see what you see when you think of me
With all the purpose that special meaning can be.
Loving should come without hesitation
And it should serve as a privileged obligation.
When giving me your self
Help me feel like you have nothing left to give
If you can’t
Disappear to whence you came.

Poem

Behind by MwsR

Lurking behind the curtains,

Hiding in the shadows

There is danger.

There’s a danger that is created

Lots of pain is in store

Screams that come out from under your door.

Secrets that wish to stay hidden

Hurts that you cannot imagine

In the air is deception, selfishness, and harm

In a home of abuse you are never safe.

Your will is betrayed.

Noone cares about your moaning

No one comes to rescue you

Behind the four walls, of your house.

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth:

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

I do not own the rights to this poem. I am sharing this poem.

Fall by MwsR

Fall for things that benefit you

Express yourself in all you do.

Fall for those who truly care for something

You’ll never have to give up anything.

Fall for the rights of others, when no-one else does

Live in the now not what was.

Fall for silly things, let your heart stay young

Travel, make plans, exercise your lungs.

Fall for doing good deeds

Take ca re of the humble and meek.

Fall into each day,

Actually listen to what people say.

Fall for loving, holding,another

Appreciate them, and also your mother.

Fall when you can and say a prayer or two

There is always God wanting to listen to you.

Fall for mankind and believe in humanity

Clean out your soul, look forward to eternity.

Falling isn’t always a sign of weakness!

Quote

Poem

In the End…by MwsR

In the end,
It isn’t the money
Or the tv programs that’s funny

In the end,
It will not matter about how much you have or own
If your heart has never found a home.

In the end,
You won’t be keeping up with who’s who
Or comparing all the latest hair do’s.

In the end,
It won’t matter what brand name furniture or clothes you have to show
It will not even matter who you know.

In the end,
One thing is certain
There will be a final curtain.

In the end,
Your past, present, and future will come to play
Where you’re spend your eternal days.

So ….
In the end,
the Eternal future depends on your soul and where you will live.
And by your heart and what you did do and give.

  • I’m “Special”
I remember being in second grade and standing on my seat to my desk telling the class something very special.  It was during a party for someone’s birthday. What I was telling my classmates was that I was adopted.  I remember this kid asking me what that meant. Now this was a big topic for … Continue reading I’m “Special”
  • Am I awkward?
When you grow up not knowing from whom you came from, this being my case since I was adopted, you feel like you are living in someone else’s life.  It is easy to feel weird or awkward.  I felt this way throughout my younger years. Here I was living in a house with a dad, … Continue reading Am I awkward?
