Such a day, as never I’ve had…

The one where you come to me

Telling me, you are sorry

In my thoughts, I have imagined it were so

But actuality always prevails.

Staring at my blank page

I remind my self of what it should be that matters most

Not your opinions, or shortcomings

But my faith and hope in things

The constant desire to keep those around

Especially when your reminders abound.

This the start of better things

Of smarter times spent

When strategically shown to me, I know

That I mattered all along.

LOVE, Life,YOU

Like wisps of perfumed air that encircles my head

Your love brings a newness and freshness to my life

You are both my sanity and my fascination

Life revolves with you in it

Without you in it, it comes to a screeching holt

As spring gets here, it reminds me of you

Something is always new for me to look at.

Your ways, your conversations, your love

It all comes without any stipulations,

But with a permanent guarantee

This beautiful life with you, loving me.

When your love carries me through another day

It is in you I find things that help me

Like your encouragement and love

You are definitely given to me, from above.

If when I am  down you comfort me

I know there are so many other reasons

But none can compare

To just you being totally “there”.

I adore your shortcomings

And the smile you give me

If I went on just your feelings of me alone

I would never ever moan.

You came into my life when my world was changing

I was like a lost puppy and could not find a safe place

I looked over my shoulder and there you appeared

I do not deserve you, but you are my love, my dear.

I have failed you in oh so many ways

But faithful and strong you have remained.

You are the sun in my dimmest sky

My reason to go onward, my reason to fly.

I hope you know what joy you have given me

For all eternity , even if for but a day

I hope I have given you a fraction of my love, in any way.

Foolish Heart

There you sit,

Un-encumbered by the amount of loving intent that is shown.

You don’t answer, yet you are so daunting in your presence.

Why does it have to be this way and never that?

Am a just a rat caught in a trap with the only way to escape being release of my soul?

This same thing has happened time after time, and I see no real purpose or rhyme in it.

Maybe I do. Maybe it is to reach you.

Ha, who am I fooling, perhaps I am the only fool.

Rather be wrong about you.

There is no real purpose, no rhyme, I have been hanging in this crazy place

I cannot free myself, nor do I want to really.

I feel torn apart, it is once again, in part,to my foolish heart.
