As if I am not on the same level ground

You do what you want when I am not around.

I feel like there are some things taken for granted

Like mentioning that maybe you did this or that

Or maybe it was me and not you that I was really mad at.

I see different perspectives, different views

And that is not only the half of it, it’s true

So much that doesn’t suite you and so much for give and take

I reckon I will give, underneath all this weight.

Too much or too little

Not enough but way more than you’d like

Guess you want to give it another thought when you cut out the light.

I am the one left wondering, left trying to replay it in my head

While I lay there, I don’t even know why I went to bed.

Why can’t things be equal, why can’t it be without fuss

Is this the way it must be between us?

This is so far gone, maybe too far to mention

I hate all this undermined intervention.

To wish or to give in

Either way something must begin.

Fear/ Poem(Encouragement)

woman dark eye spooky
Photo by Rene Asmussen on Pexels.com

Don’t let fear control you

Reach inside and let that fear see what it is you can do and be

There are never absolutes, just  resolute.

Always time for tears but they won’t wipe away your fears.

If you want something that is in your grasp

You grab a hold and wait till the very last

If you want to conquer your fears, you must do the same.

We all are just like rats running in this game.

Some take the wrong path, but quickly learn the right one

Although some keep going full blast , further and further without realizing it.

Obviously one will find the goal, or grab the thing they searched for so frantically.

They don’t let the fear of unknown keep them from what they wanted.

Fear is a deceiver of persons, it says,”No way”

Your heart and mind must say.” It is feasible”

Fear can’t take you by the hand and lead you away from something

But if you let it , it will take rob you of so much.

So look that fear in the midst of its presence and make it see

There is no stopping you.

“It is what it is”/Poem

When the overwhelming need to run hits you

The undeniable feelings of panic

Take a breath or two and wait for a while

Perhaps it will change your mood or thoughts.

If troubles seem to follow you

“Loose” them in your search for peace.

There is no escaping them if you don’t make an effort.

Do you have tremendous burdens ?

It is okay to lay them down for a while

To deal with them another day

No one else will pick them up and carry them for you.

When things look bleak,

When life is hard,

Try to stay hopeful and soft.

Don’t harden you heart.

Don’t wallow in  your own pity, your good life away.

It is what it is, it will be what it will be

Don’t look for a rainbow underneath a broken tree.

Life is a challenge

Set forth into this new day

And look for that rainbow as you make your own way.

There will be one and things will change, someday.

As I already knew,
That nothing would ever change my shade of blue.
It was a color I was very familiar with.
A common in my life ever since being a Smith.
My goals were simple back in the day
It was to be a singer, up on a stage.
To be applauded for a song
Not knowing it was in my personal life, I needed applause all along.

As I dreamed of being a nurse
I wanted to help others who had it worse.
I never felt that I couldn’t brighten someone’s day
But more often than not I wanted to cheer people up with words that I could say.
See, helping someone made my own problems fade
But unfortunately, it just took my mind off of them, they never really went away.

As life has a way of making things seem so heavy and hard
Our hopes, dreams and aspirations often get marred.
Things that mattered once now fall on hard, stony ground
They cannot rebound, nor any abundance be found.
Sadly, they die and disappear
Nothing can grow there, sometimes for years.

As if that was that,
It comes and leaves from where it is at.
No rhyme nor reason
No hope, no change of the season.
Nothing but despair
That is all that is left, all to often there.

As a leaf falls to the ground,
We will too.
But if we are lucky and a strong a nice wind blows through,
It will carry us and our troubles will be few.

As surely as I write,
One day things will again, be alright.
There is no need to worry over spilt milk
It can easily be cleaned.
If you can withstand the smell it has for a short time.
Then things will get back to normal like they should.

As you read this believe in things, hope for things, dream of things while you can.
Don’t listen to opinions of just the average man.
No one can make a future for you,
You have to believe in yourself, it’s true.

I/ Poem

I am simple, yet complicated

Strong yet weak

Wise but gullible

Torn yet durable

I wrestle with my demons

I walk with them too

I am who I am and want some approvals too.

Fight against injustices

Yet rise despite my circumstances

Able to carry on,

Guess my heart is strong.

I hate to see mistreatment

Although sometimes I mistreat someone.

I follow none,

Yet, want to be followed.

I don’t always have an alternate motive

But sometimes my motives are apparent.

If I love, I really love

If I trust it is hard to give

Just like others, I can really feel down.

I often dream of better days

And yes, I pray.

I am no better than anyone else

Yet I feel I deserve good.

I am just a poet inside

A wandering soul that sometimes can be blind.

If you meet me you will laugh

That is one of my things, to be silly.

Serious, not so much

Although hard is sometimes the way to be.

I am just me, and all that encompasses that.

Keto, is it your way?

As a diabetic, I am always wanting to fill my head with options towards my health and to prevent radical or long-term damage to my internal organs and externally too. I do a lot of reading, researching and the Keto way to eat seems to offer multiple benefits that won’t put me in the “poor house” having to by for it. I just have to point out I am not a professional or nutritionist or a diabetic expert. the information I share is not necessarily my own opinions or findings. As always do your own research for what will work best for you and of course include you doctor’s advice.

If you are into the latest healthy way of living, there is Keto. Here is some information you might find helpful.

Copied and Pasted from this webpage, here is the information …

http://magicalusefultips.com/2018/04/22/1-week-ketogenic-diet-meal-plan/

A ketogenic diet changes the metabolic engine of your body from burning carbohydrates/sugars to burning fats. Once changed the metabolic engine, your body is in a state known as ketosis.

The Ketogenic diet is a high-fat, low-carb diet invented in the 1920’s for epilepsy patients by Dr. Henry Geyelin. Dr. Geyelin observed improvements not only in seizures but also blood sugar and body fat. The end result is faster weight loss!

Generally speaking, the ideal ratio to go by is:

60-75 percent fat
15-30 percent protein
5-10 percent carbs
Be sure to keep daily net carbohydrates at 20g or less. To calculate your net carbohydrates, simply subtract your grams of fiber from your carbs (Net carbs = carbs – fiber).
However, the keto meal plan below is balanced correctly for the proper ratio so you don’t really have to worry too much to start.

How does ketosis work?
The ketogenic diet belongs is in the family of low-carb diets, so it works through a process that empties your glucose from your body. A standard diet has a tremendous amount of sugar and carbs and therefore has trained the body to use those sources (glucose) as fuel.
With this diet, over time we have depleted the glucose in our system and since we aren’t getting it from our diet anymore our body adapts and switches over to get its fuel from fats. The cool thing is we start to burn the stored fat we have in our body. The state of burning fat in this way is called ketosis.
It is important to understand that not only epilepsy patients benefit from this type of diet. It also has positive effects on diabetes, obesity, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, heart disease, and even cancer.
Because sugar feeds tumors and encourages the growth of cancer, a diet that does not contain sugar and other carbohydrates can help you to prevent or fight cancer. The normal cells in the body have the ability to use fat for energy, while cancer cells can’t metabolically change so they can’t use fat for energy.

This webpage also has a 1 week diet plan guide for you, so check it out.
