Like a…/Poem Share

Like a storm from out of nowhere

Drifting away like a dream or stare.

More scattered than the grains of sand

But finding common ground to stand.

Troubles thicker than molasses

Smears that collect upon the glasses.

Too much sometimes

Too little I find.

Promises that prick you like roses

People that will leave you in droves.

Lies without guilt

Steamy words from upon their lips.

I’m insignificant

Though I feel transparent.

Walking always, somewhere

But heading nowhere.

Jokes are about me

But I’m not laughing, you see.

Thoughts are for the things that matter

Not for hearts to shatter.

But can’t make it go

Can’t, you know?

Life and love intermingle

Circumstance and perhaps, all dangle.

Forward just one time

Backwards, when it tries to unwind.

Feelings…friends…words…and thoughts

RecipesMain coursesKeto chicken casserole
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix cream (or sour cream) with pesto and lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, and fry in butter until they turn a nice golden brown.
Place the chicken in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, and pour in the cream mixture.
Chop the leek and cherry tomatoes. Chop the cauliflower into small florets. Top chicken with leek, tomatoes and cauliflower.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the middle of the oven for at least 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. If the casserole is at risk of burning before it’s done, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil, lower the heat and let cook for a bit longer.
Tip!
Green it up! A rich dish like this only gets better served with a side of fresh leafy greens. Dress them with a generous drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt.

Let’s talk about Perceptions and Who you are/Share

How do you go from changing the inside to match up with the outside? Or do you?

We all have felt different about things or perhaps ourselves and our inner side versus our outer appearance, persona, or other. Is it a plot of betrayal that we plan, when they do not go hand in hand?(sorry that rhyming poet in me came out).

I do not think so.

Sometimes people keep things to themselves, because they do not want others to figure out their motives, their thoughts, or their insecurities. On some occasions it could be something that might cause you to lose someone dear, or possibly cause you to lose your job, friends, family, or just plain out LOSE.

We all do things based on how others will perceive us or interact with us, and sometimes because we want a certain impression of ourselves seen, when it comes to another person. Sometimes people do actually plot to be a certain way or at least perceived in a certain way. In other words, it is a deliberate attempt.

Perceptions are sensing, sometimes there is a good enough reason to perceive another’s motive, thoughts, or what have you.

per·cep·tion
[pərˈsepSH(ə)n]

NOUN
the ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through the senses.

My challenge to you is this…

Try to look honestly at how you come across to another person. Honestly critique yourself. The point in this is to be the person you are, really, not the one you created for show.

Now if there is things you like to keep private, that is okay. I believe that sometimes we need our own secrets. On the occasion, though that you come across as fake or not real, you should really ask yourself why. It is all a part of self managing and being healthy from the inside, in our own minds.

I don’t know why I decided to write about this, but I hope you can gather something useful from it. I apologize if it is hard to understand. My mind thinks so much faster than I can write.

Have a good evening, day, morning, night, whatever it is where you are at.
