Amazing, by MwsR
Amazing how life changes so differently for everyone
Things remembered are often just not fun
When you really have never had much
More than is such a bunch.
Often we get settled in our ways
Things come around and we ignore the change
Feelings try to shift
Do you get my drift?
We get comfortable and forgetful
Inside some, this creates something vengeful
They become bitter, regretting this or that
All the effort they feel wasted in the tiffs,
Silence causes such a rift
Words get hurtful and people pitch fits
No one wants to be last and unimportant
No one wants to get stagnant.
Amazing how little effort we give to matters of the heart
Looking critically at ourselves is the start of change
Putting ourselves in other’s shoes
Looking unbias at our actions.
Until we can, we will be that stagnant person,
The unhappy person we so tried to avoid
The one who misses opportunity that leads to void.
Amazing as humans, we have abilities above all other living creatures
But we fail to act, hesitate to activate them, and venture
Venture into the path we should take,
Make the corrections we should make.
Amazing is seeing past blinders that create divisions
Divisions that we ourselves make,
In the steps we never take.

Easter Inspired Poem(religious aspect)
That One Morning by MwsRWritings.com
As I arose from my bed
Things were swirling in my head
Look at how our society is
How things are becoming so perilous
I peered out my window
I heard the sparrows
What could that glorious morning have felt like?
No one was announcing his resurrection from a stage mike.
He was our Savior, our lamb, that was slain
Oh, how he endured all that pain!
It was for our sins that he gave of himself
He was unselfish and unsinful, not like myself.
I owe him so much
Because so much was given, a bunch
He arose from the grave
He who was tortured and killed for us to be saved.
That morning was unlike any other day
If in it you never learn the price he had to pay
He did nothing but love us all
Because of this morning, we never have to fall
We can rise again ourselves
Take a seat beside him in death
If we remember this one morning
This great cause for celebration and singing
He has arisen from the grave!
Alleluia, praise be to him who can save!

Some Facts About Easter
https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/holidays/easter-ideas/g5064/easter-facts/: Some Facts About EasterWhen is Easter?
In 2024 Easter Sunday is on 31 March. The week leading up to Easter is called Holy Week.
The date of Easter Sunday varies from year to year. It is celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon, on or after 21 March.
Holy Week
Palm Sunday
This is the Sunday before Easter Sunday.
It is the first day of Holy Week and celebrates Jesus’s arrival in Jerusalem riding on a donkey. Crowds of people came out of the city to greet him, throwing down palm branches on the road.
Anglican and Roman Catholic churches give out small crosses made from palm leaves, as a reminder of Jesus’s entrance into Jerusalem and his death on the cross. Some Christians keep these in their homes all year as a symbol of their faith.
Good Friday
Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday. It commemorates the execution of Jesus by crucifixion.
Good Friday is a day of mourning in church. During special Good Friday services Christians remember Jesus’s suffering and death on the cross, and what this means for their faith.
In some countries, there are special Good Friday processions, or re-enactments of the Crucifixion.

https://facts.net/easter-facts/: Some Facts About EasterEaster baskets have special symbolism.
The woven treat containers represent birds’ nests and new life, especially when filled to the brim with eggs. Plus, they’re a pretty utilitarian way to gather those goodies on your Easter egg hunt.
There’s a reason you probably eat ham for Easter dinner.
Historically, most early Easter celebrants would have eaten lamb for this special occasion since the holiday has its roots in Jewish Passover. But these days, many American Easter dinners now feature ham instead, because of the timing of the holiday. Years ago, hams cured over the winter months would have been ready to serve in the early spring.
